A Breast Uplift, or Mastopexy, is particularly suitable for women whose breasts have lost their shape or are sagging. A Breast Uplift is most commonly performed to reverse the sagging effects that often follow pregnancies, weight loss and ageing.

The breasts may be pendulous as a result of a relaxation of the ligaments. The actual size may be fine but the breasts have lost their volume and tone or the nipples may point downward.

 

What is involved?

The Surgeon will carefully remove a small section of excess skin from each breast to lift the bustline, giving a more youthful appearance.

In some cases, a breast lift can be combined with an implant where the size needs extra volume to be restored.
